On November 12, the Provincial People's Committee said it had directed relevant units to organize groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Binh Gia Victory.
In particular, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Civil and Industrial Project Management Board to preside over and coordinate with units to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Victory Park project (Construction of the Victory Monument of Battalion 445 and memorial to Martyrs D445).
The Transport Project Management Board presided over and coordinated with units to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the connecting roads to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway (two projects, from National Highway 56 to coastal road DT994).
Units such as the Department of Transport and the Department of Culture and Sports need to coordinate and review to complete the details of the scenario and report to the Provincial People's Committee before November 20. The groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies are expected to be held in late November or early December 2024.
The connecting road to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway has a total length of 16.5 km and is divided into 3 component projects. Of which, the two connecting roads to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway (Project 1, from National Highway 56 to Vung Van Intersection; Project 2, from Vung Van Intersection to DT994 coastal road) have a total length of 13.51 km (6.71 km and 6.8 km); total investment capital of VND 11,900 billion. These two projects will be implemented in the period of 2023-2027.
The third project is the main road of Vung Tau (from coastal road DT994 to roundabout of 3/2 street) with a length of 2.87 km, total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2024-2028.
