On October 3, the Traffic Police of Da Lat City (Lam Dong) said that the unit is coordinating with authorities to block off the scene of the landslide on Prenn Pass.
In addition, the police force also regulated traffic through the above landslide area.
According to initial information, at 12:50 p.m. the same day, a large mass of rock and soil from a positive slope at an altitude of about 15 meters collapsed onto the road surface of Prenn Pass, a section belonging to Ward 3, Da Lat City.
Here, rocks and many pine trees collapsed, covering two lanes of the road from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat.
The landslide occurred after heavy rain in Da Lat city. Fortunately, the landslide did not cause any damage to people or vehicles.
At 2:00 p.m. the same day, Da Lat city authorities mobilized vehicles to the scene, organized the clearing of rocks and soil, and cleared traffic through the area.
