Hanoi - Nearly 3,000 vehicle applications have been submitted by people to the iHanoi application.

Implementing the 60-day and night peak plan to conduct a general review and clean up vehicle registration and driver's license data in Hanoi, from 12:00 to 17:00 on November 11, the capital's police forces coordinated to collect and update electronic data information of people through the application platform "Digital capital citizens - iHanoi".

According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, after only 5 hours of deployment (from 12:00 to 17:00 on November 11), on the iHanoi application platform, the authorities recorded nearly 3,000 data files related to vehicle registration and driving licenses.

Of which, there are more than 1,000 driver's license data records and more than 1,000 vehicle registration records.

The initial results demonstrate the positive spirit, consensus and response of the people to the digital transformation policy.

At the same time, it affirms the determination of Hanoi City Police in the management and cleaning of data to serve administrative reform and ensure traffic order and safety.

According to the plan, in the early stages, the police force will focus on reviewing cases of using paper driving licenses, and at the same time propagating and instructing citizens to register to use electronic driving licenses and PET cards to facilitate management, searching and use.

The plan will be implemented continuously from November 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

During this period, Hanoi City Police must review and clean up nearly 8 million vehicle data, 130,000 driver's license data and digitize 8 million vehicle registration records under management.
