On the evening of November 12, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police informed that after more than a day of implementing a peak period of general review and cleaning of vehicle registration and driver's license data, by 5:00 p.m. the same day, the whole city had received and processed nearly 14,000 data files related to vehicle registration and driver's license.
Of which, there are more than 7,100 driver's license applications and more than 6,500 vehicle registration applications.
The above results demonstrate the positive spirit, consensus and response of the people to the digital transformation policy, contributing to building an accurate database, serving the state management of traffic order and safety.

Currently, Hanoi City Police are coordinating with the Public Administration Service Center to upgrade the transmission line, ensure a stable operating system, and serve more people at the same time.
Along with that, the units continue to promote propaganda, guidance, and mobilization of people to self-declare vehicle information and vehicle owners on the iHanoi application.

According to the plan, in the early stages, the police force will focus on reviewing cases of using paper driving licenses, and at the same time propagating and instructing citizens to register to use electronic driving licenses and PET cards to facilitate management, searching and use.
The plan will be implemented continuously from November 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
During this period, Hanoi City Police must review and clean up nearly 8 million vehicle data, 130,000 driver's license data and digitize 8 million vehicle registration records under management.
