On the morning of March 10, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, an officer of the Ha Tinh Department of Finance - said that the Department had assigned the Inspection Department and the Department's Youth Union to work with Mr. Tran Danh T - an officer of the Inspection Department on the content of this person using social networks to make indecent, offensive comments, and insult the locality when discussing the merger of provinces.
According to the officer of the Department of Finance, the Department assigned that today (March 10) there must be a report on Mr. T's incident, after which the Department's Office will advise the Department's leaders to organize a meeting to clarify, thereby basing on regulations to advise on the handling level for Mr. Tran Danh T.
"The point of view is to handle it seriously according to regulations, and at the same time, deter the entire agency to avoid violators and repeat violations that affect the reputation of the Department", this officer shared.
Regarding this incident, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has also directed the Ha Tinh Department of Finance to promptly report to the province.
As Lao Dong reported, on the afternoon of March 8, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Ha Tinh Provincial Police decided to fine Tran Danh T (born in 1991, residing in Van Yen Ward, Ha Tinh City) 7.5 million VND for using a Tiktok account to comment on obscene content and local discrimination.
The authorities determined that on March 6, T went to the social network Tiktok and saw a post by Tiktok account "Hieu Vu Trung" related to the policy of arranging provincial-level administrative units, in which there were many comments comparing the development and socio-economic conditions between localities.
During the debate, Tran Danh T commented on some obscene and discriminatory content, causing outrage among the masses.
T's actions violated the law, as stipulated in Point a, Clause 1, Article 101 of Decree No. 15 dated February 3, 2020 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in the fields of post, telecommunications, radio frequency, information technology, network information security and electronic transactions.
At the meeting with the police, Mr. Tran Danh T admitted his violation, but it stemmed from the anger in the debate, not for other purposes.
The Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police has issued a decision to administratively fine Mr. T 7.5 million VND and require the account owner to commit not to repeat the offense.
