On February 27, the Hanoi Department of Transport issued a document announcing the change of reception location and return of results of handling administrative procedures (one-stop-shop) of the Hanoi Department of Transport and stopping receiving procedures related to testing and granting road motor vehicle driving licenses.
According to the document, from March 5, 2025, the department receiving and returning administrative procedure settlement results of the Hanoi Department of Transport (after merging with the Department of Construction) will operate at the new location on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the Inter-age Building, No. 258 Vo Chi Cong, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi City.
The location to return the results is at 657 Lac Long Quan, Xuan La ward, Tay Ho district, Hanoi City.
The announcement of the City Department of Transport also clearly states the transfer of administrative procedures for testing and issuing driving licenses to the Hanoi City Police.
The Department of Receiving and returning administrative procedure settlement results of the Hanoi Department of Transport at locations No. 2 Phung Hung, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District and 16 Cao Ba Quat, Dien Bien Ward, Ba Dinh District will receive documents directly and online on the Public Service Portal until February 28, 2025.
The district-level results receiving and returning department ( authorized by the Department) continues to carry out procedures for granting and exchanging driving licenses in 13 districts, towns and cities, including: Ung Hoa, My Duc, Phu Xuyen, Dong Anh, Son Tay, Nam Tu Liem, Dan Phuong, Long Bien, Soc Son, Me Linh, Thanh Oai, Quoc Oai, Ba Vi. Direct reception time is until 11:00 on February 28, 2025.
All data and documents will be synchronized and handed over to the Hanoi Department of Transport before 2:00 p.m. on February 28, 2025 to transfer to the Hanoi City Police.
