The Public Administration Performance Index (PAPI) is in the highest group, ranked 4th out of 61 provinces and cities nationwide (up 20 places), ranked 1st among provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region; The Green Index (PGI) ranked 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide (up 33 places), ranked 9th out of 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region (up 1 place).

However, there are still some difficulties and limitations, such as the damaged shrimp farming area accounts for 5.1% of the farming area (the same period in 2023 was 4.1%); climate change, natural disasters, and riverbank erosion are complicated, negatively affecting production and people's lives.

The progress of implementing projects, promoting and calling for investment is still slow. By September 30, 2024, the disbursement rate of public investment capital reached 48.3%, lower than the same period (the same period in 2023 reached 53.5%).

Production and business activities of enterprises are still difficult; the number of enterprises registering to temporarily suspend operations increased compared to the same period.
