Soc Trang - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed an urgent dispatch to stop the plan to organize a delegation to study lottery experience abroad.

According to the urgent dispatch signed by Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Lau, Soc Trang province stopped organizing the second delegation to study experiences on lottery development models and strategies in Malaysia and Singapore (expected to depart from October 26 - October 31, 2024).

The reason for stopping the implementation is to re-evaluate the necessity, use appropriate funds, and effectively learn from experience.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province also requested the Chairman of Soc Trang Provincial Lottery Company Limited to urgently report the results and evaluate the effectiveness of the study trip to the Netherlands, Germany, and France (report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before October 11, 2024).

Previously, Soc Trang Provincial Lottery Company Limited had planned to organize 2 delegations (consisting of 14 people) to study lottery development model experiences abroad. The delegation included members of the Soc Trang Provincial Lottery Supervisory Council and key leaders of Soc Trang Provincial Lottery Company Limited. Delegation 1 went to the Netherlands, Germany, and France from September 28 to October 8. Currently, delegation 1 has returned home. Delegation 2 went to study lottery experiences in Malaysia and Singapore, from October 26 to October 31, 2024.
