According to the report, the center organized two fireworks displays on Saturday evening, April 26 and May 3. The first round did not meet expectations due to the short performance time and lack of highlights. The second incident involved a serious incident when the firecracker effect was skewed, affecting the audience area.
Viet Giang Company Limited - the technical unit - admitted that the incident originated from the use of 58 old "fire dragon" fire hoses that still existed from the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023. These pipes have been leached, expired and are not of good quality. In addition, the installation error caused the fireworks to fly above the ground, endangering viewers.

The Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City requested the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to review the entire event organization process and provide documents proving the type of firecrackers used to the City Police for verification. At the same time, seriously learn from experience, only organize fireworks when fully implementing current regulations.
