Initial information, at around 6:30 p.m. on December 9, a line of motorbikes running on Provincial Road 15, from Tan Quy intersection to Phu Hoa Dong market, when approaching Ben Nay bridge, suddenly collided head-on. Four motorbikes were damaged, with broken fairings scattered on the road next to shoes and helmets.
Two of the motorbikes were in the middle of the road, while the other two were thrown to the side of the road 20 meters away. One motorbike had a broken front wheel. Three injured people, two women and one man, were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Witnessing the accident, Mr. Nguyen Lam (a local resident) said that initially two motorbikes collided with each other, then two other vehicles continued to rush forward at high speed, creating a chain reaction. "The two women were quite seriously injured and unconscious, the remaining victim suffered multiple injuries," Mr. Lam said. The road where the accident occurred was about 6 meters wide, with lights on one side and a rice field on the other side.
Cu Chi District Traffic Police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause and move the vehicles involved in the accident.
