According to initial information, the series of accidents occurred at around 11pm on November 22 between 5 cars, at the elevated Ring Road 3 (through Hoang Mai Ward, Hanoi).
At the time of the accident, the truck with license plate 30M-452.XX was traveling on Ring Road 3, in the direction of Thanh Tri Bridge - Mai Dich Bridge. At the above location, the truck suddenly crashed into a series of cars traveling in the same direction ahead, including a car with license plate 99E-000.XX, a truck 29K-067.XX, a truck with a full case 30M-387.XX and a 16-seat passenger car (license plate unknown).
After a strong crash, the car with license plate 99E-000.XX was severely deformed at the rear and front of the car, causing two airbags to explode. 2 people in the car were injured and taken to the emergency room.
The remaining 4 cars had damage to the front, rear and body. The driver of the 16-seat passenger car drove the vehicle away from the scene immediately after the accident.
It is known that the road where the accident occurred is currently being repaired.




Upon receiving the report, Road Traffic Police Team No. 14 (CSGT) - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police sent officers and soldiers to the scene to handle the accident.
The authorities checked the alcohol concentration of the drivers, initially, and did not detect any violations.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
