Car driver with alcohol concentration causes multiple accidents in Hai Phong

Hai Phong - On the afternoon of January 7, the Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong City informed about the series of traffic accidents on the evening of January 6.

According to information from the Hai Phong City Traffic Safety Committee, at around 8:09 p.m. on January 6, at km 84+700 of National Highway 5 in Tan Tien Ward, An Duong District, a traffic accident occurred.

At this time, the car driven by Mr. V.M.Q traveling in the direction of Hai Phong - Hanoi collided with the car driven by Mr. N.V.T (both born in 1982, residing in Tan Tien, An Duong) traveling in the same direction.

After the accident, Mr. Q. did not stop the car, did not maintain the scene and continued to flee to km 83+100 of National Highway 5, An Hung Ward, Hong Bang District, where he continued to collide with a motorbike traveling in the same direction. This car continued to flee to Toll Station No. 2 of National Highway 5, crashed into the toll station and stopped.

As a result, Mr. Q was injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Initially, the authorities determined that the driver who caused the accident had a blood alcohol concentration.

Currently, the case is being handled by the authorities according to regulations.
