On the evening of May 24, information from the Hanoi Department of Construction said that in recent days, due to the impact of prolonged hot weather and high traffic density, on the elevated Ring Road 3, large elasticity appeared at some locations of elastic joints, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
To promptly overcome and ensure safety for vehicles traveling, the Hanoi Department of Construction will deploy the repair of the expansion joints on the route.
Accordingly, from 10:30 PM on May 24, 2026 to 5:00 AM on May 25, 2026, functional units will temporarily divert traffic for vehicles traveling on Ring Road 3 elevated road in the direction from Mai Dich to Nguyen Trai.
During this time, vehicles traveling in the direction from Mai Dich to Thanh Tri bridge will move according to the route: Pham Hung - Khuat Duy Tien - to Nguyen Trai intersection, then can continue to travel along Nguyen Xien route or move back to Ring Road 3 elevated road to continue the journey.
During the construction period, the Traffic Police force will coordinate with relevant units to organize traffic diversion and guidance to limit congestion and ensure traffic order and safety in the area.
Hanoi Traffic Police Department recommends that people proactively choose appropriate routes, reduce speed when traveling through the area, and comply with the instructions of functional forces and the sign system to ensure safety, contributing to facilitating construction work.
