On October 24, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan worked with representatives of Vingroup Corporation on the green transformation program through sustainable transport solutions; developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure systems and policies to support people in the digital transformation process.

Regarding Binh Dinh, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of Vingroup and President of VinFast - said that Vingroup is currently developing in 15 countries around the world. With the orientation of promoting green transformation, the Group is interested in deploying electric vehicle charging stations in Binh Dinh province. At the same time, she is ready to share and support the province on issues related to green development.
At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that Binh Dinh is currently a destination for major events of national and regional scale. Binh Dinh has been affirming that it is a locality with great development potential; many large corporations are interested in exploring investment opportunities.

"Currently, the province is aiming to build Binh Dinh into a "capital" of renewable energy; at the same time, it continues to promote the development of transport infrastructure, with the view that "infrastructure goes first, paving the way for development". In the coming time, the province also aims to build and deploy an urban railway system that connects and uses electricity during operation.
The province's viewpoint is to always be ready to receive and implement new projects. In particular, the province always pays attention to environmental issues in the development process," said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan.
Regarding the issues of interest to Vingroup Corporation, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Department of Transport to coordinate with representatives of Vingroup Corporation to conduct a survey of locations for installing electric vehicle charging points in Quy Nhon City and other localities in the province.
At the same time, the Department of Construction was assigned to review all urban areas, resorts, and commercial centers and require these locations to install electric vehicle charging stations.
Reporting at the meeting, a representative of the Department of Transport of Binh Dinh province said that currently, the whole province has 269 Vinfast electric cars owned by the people; there are 14 Vinfast electric car charging stations; 5 charging stations for 4-wheel electric cars invested by the units themselves.
Promoting sustainable transport solutions by using electric vehicles and Vinfast green technology will actively contribute to the implementation of the Action Program on green energy conversion, reducing carbon and methane emissions of the transport sector in the province.
