On the evening of December 9, Mr. Nguyen Tho Phuoc, Captain of the Dak Song Power Management Team (under the old Dak Nong Power Company - now Lam Dong Power Company) visited, encouraged and gave additional financial support to Mr. Hoang Van Huyen's family.
According to Mr. Phuoc, the work accident that occurred to Mr. Huyen was an unexpected incident. After treatment, Mr. Huyen's health has stabilized. The team also created conditions for Mr. Huyen to return to work in the office. However, due to not being suitable for the expertise, Mr. Huyen asked to stay with the power grid management department to continue working.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Hoang Van Huyen said that he had an electrical short circuit accident at the end of June 2025. At that time, he was working at Dak Song Power Company (under the old Dak Nong Power Company - now under Lam Dong Power Company).
Mr. Huyen said: "The accident that occurred while performing my duties was an unexpected incident. After a period of treatment, my health has stabilized, but my vision has decreased significantly. Therefore, my wife is very worried about her health".
"On the agency side, the team's leaders and colleagues regularly visit and encourage us very attentively. Currently, despite the difficulties, I still hope to continue to stay with the power grid to continue working, said Mr. Huyen.
According to a representative of Lam Dong Electricity, the accident occurred at the end of June - the time when the three provinces (Lam Dong, Dak Nong and Binh Thuan had not yet merged into the new Lam Dong province), so the unit did not receive reports on the incident. After grasping the incident, the unit will assign the Dak Song Power Management Team to report for consideration and ensure the rights of workers.
