The accident occurred at 5:40 p.m. on November 11 at km8+250 of Provincial Road 392B in Thanh Mien commune. A motorbike driven by Mr. N.V.D (born in 2006, residing in Nam Thanh Mien commune) from Thanh Mien commune to Nam Thanh Mien collided with Ms. V.T.M (born in 2015, residing in Thanh Mien commune) riding a bicycle across the road. As a result, Ms. M was injured and died later. The authorities determined that Mr. D did not observe and caused a traffic accident.
At 6:18 p.m. the same day, at km71+450 of National Highway 37 (An Phu commune), a collision occurred between two motorbikes. A motorbike driven by G.S.T (born in 2008, residing in Lao Cai province) traveling from the same address collided with a tractor-trailer traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, the two people on the motorbike suffered traumatic brain injuries. The preliminary cause was that T overtook the motorbike and caused a traffic accident.
