Kien Giang - Major Nguyen Quoc Trong quickly went to the hospital to donate blood to help a child born in 2018 who urgently needed blood.

On the morning of December 18, the Kien Giang Provincial Police Inspectorate received information that at the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital, there was a case of a child born in 2018 with Thalassemia (congenital hemolytic anemia - a rare genetic disease) currently in emergency condition. The child urgently needed a transfusion of blood type B, which is a type of blood that the hospital is in dire need of.

The leaders of the Provincial Police Inspectorate Department mobilized all officers and soldiers in the unit to donate blood to promptly provide emergency care for the child patient. After 5 minutes of launching, Major Nguyen Quoc Trong (born in 1990, working at the Administrative and Specialized Inspection Team) volunteered to register and quickly went to the hospital to donate blood.

This is a practical and meaningful work of the officers, soldiers, union members and youth of the Provincial Police Inspectorate with the spirit of studying and implementing "Six teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Police", most importantly, promptly helping people in difficulty overcome critical situations.
