On December 9, Mr. Nguyen Tho Phuoc, Captain of the Dak Song Power Management Team (Lam Dong) confirmed that recently, while on duty, an electrician of the unit was seriously injured by electric shock.
The person who was electrocuted and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment was Mr. H.V.H (from the Dak Song Power Management Team Management and Operation Team, Lam Dong).
Previously, while Mr. H was on duty to replace meters at a customer's transformer station in Duc An commune (Lam Dong), he was electrocuted, causing his eyes to damage and his face to be scorched.
After the electrocution accident, Mr. H was transferred by his family to a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for treatment.
According to the family, due to electric shock, Mr. H's face was scorched and his eyes were damaged. The incident occurred in June 2025.
According to Mr. Phuoc, Mr. H had a similar accident before when grinding coffee, the coffee peels damaged both eyes, so his eyes were very weak.
"This time Mr. H was electrocuted and was able to handle it, so the Team did not notify the superiors. The team also sent people to visit and encourage Mr. H's family," Mr. Phuoc discussed.
