New information about the case of a teenager who died at Van Hanh Mall

HCMC - A teenager fell from a building and died at Van Hanh Mall (District 10), suspected of committing suicide by jumping from a building. The authorities are still investigating the incident.

On March 19, a representative of Ward 12 People's Committee confirmed that the incident of a teenager falling to the ground and dying at Van Hanh Mall (District 10) was true.

According to the record, the incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. on March 17, when people were playing and shopping at Van Hanh Mall, on Su Van Hanh Street (Ward 12, District 10), they heard a loud noise. When they arrived to check, people discovered a teenager dead, having fallen from a high floor.

The police quickly arrived to examine the scene and take statements from witnesses. Initially, the police identified the victim as a male, born in 2010.

Through the scene investigation, the authorities discovered the body of a teenager with two samples of student notebooks. A sample of personal information: H.L (born in 2010, residing in District 10), along with parents' phone number. The remaining sample recorded a letter of resentment with content that discouraged life.

Security camera footage shows the image of a teenager falling from the 7th floor to the lobby in front of the shopping mall. At the railing of the 7th floor, the authorities also discovered traces suspected to be the teenager's footsteps.

Initially, the authorities determined that this could be a suicide. The police continue to investigate, clarify the cause of the incident and collect information from witnesses.
