At around 5:30 a.m. on November 2, the authorities found the body of a girl named L.N.B.T (born in 2012) trapped in the fence of an apple orchard. This location is about 500m from the washed away site.
Previously, on the evening of November 1, the reservoir of Viet farm, in Tuy Phong commune (Lam Dong province) suddenly burst. Water and mud have poured into residential areas in downstream areas.
T's family of 3 fled the house but the strong water swept all 3 of them away. At this time, lucky parents were able to stick to the tree trunk along the road to escape, while baby T was swept away and went missing.
According to statistics on the morning of November 2, the incident caused 3 people to be swept away by the water and were rescued in time; 1 person died, a girl whose body had just been found.
It is worth mentioning that the reservoir at this farm broke down in early October, but to a small extent. Previously, the authorities arrived to inspect the scene, and by the evening of November 1, the incident occurred.
Currently, the authorities have blocked off the scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
