Previously, at 12:8 on July 23, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Binh Lieu (Ministry of Military Command of Quang Ninh province) received a report that a person was swept away by floodwaters in the spillway area in Tien Hai village, Dien Xa commune, Quang Ninh province.
The victim was identified as T.T.T (born in 2013), residing in the locality. Immediately after receiving the information, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Binh Lieu (Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command) quickly mobilized 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the police, militia, commune defense and grassroots security to participate in the search.
At the scene, rescue forces organized a search along the two banks of the river and deployed a search net to surround the downstream area where the incident occurred. The search was conducted urgently and seriously with the highest sense of responsibility.
At nearly 8:30 a.m. this morning (July 25), the forces found the body of T.T.T.
Currently, the authorities have brought the child's body to the family for funeral arrangements.
