On the morning of March 21, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Phu Yen Provincial Police, said that it had brought out 2 bodies trapped in the cabin of a vehicle after a traffic accident that occurred in Suoi Bac Commune, Son Hoa District.
According to initial information, at about 4:45 a.m. the same day, a truck carrying rocks with license plate 51C-591.78 driven by Mr. Vo Tan Kh (born in 2000, residing in Suoi Bac commune) carrying an auxiliary vehicle, Mr. Cao Minh T (born in 1970, residing in Cung Son town, Son Hoa district) was traveling East - West on National Highway 25.
When reaching Km47+975 in Tan An village (Suoi Bac commune), it collided with a truck with license plate 78C-022.58 driven by Mr. Vo Ngoc Nguyen (born in 1982, residing in Son Ha commune) that was stopped on the side of the road due to damage.
The strong collision caused Mr. Kh and Mr. T to die on the spot, and their bodies to be trapped in the cabin. The front of the truck carrying rocks was severely damaged.
After receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived and deployed rescue work. At 5:50 a.m., the two bodies of the victims were taken out and handed over to the authorities.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.
