The Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police has just announced a traffic adjustment plan to serve the Gala program "Peaceful Fatherland" and exhibition, exhibition, and experience activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's "Call for Patriotic Emulation" (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2026), towards the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026).
According to the plan, construction and installation work to serve the program will be carried out from 7 pm on June 7 to the end of June 11 in the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street area, Saigon ward.
The opening ceremony of the program will be a general rehearsal at 3:00 PM on June 10th and will officially take place from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM on June 11th at the stage located on Nguyen Hue street, intersecting with Ngo Duc Ke street.
Display, exhibition and experience activities take place from June 11 to 14 at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, the section from Le Loi street to Ngo Duc Ke street.
The Gala "Peaceful Fatherland" will be rehearsed at 7:30 PM on June 12th and officially held at 8:00 PM on June 13th.
To serve the program, the entire Nguyen Hue street is used as a space to organize exhibitions, experiences, displays and the main stage area.
In addition, Le Loi street (section from Pasteur street to Dong Khoi street) and Ngo Duc Ke street (section from Dong Khoi street to Ho Tung Mau street) are arranged as escape corridors, not allowing vehicles to circulate, stop and limit crowded gatherings.
PC08 recommends that people when traveling through the city center area, especially during the Gala on June 12 and 13, should choose alternative routes such as Pasteur, Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang and Ham Nghi.
People visiting and following the program are recommended to park at public parking spots around the organized area, and at the same time comply with the instructions of functional forces and traffic signal systems to ensure safety and avoid congestion.
