HCMC prepares to clear more than 1,500 households to do two projects worth over VND16,600 billion
Ho Chi Minh City has reclaimed more than 1,800 households, of which more than 1,500 households have cleared to implement two projects to renovate Ong Be canal and Ba Lon canal with a total capital of more than VND 16,600 billion.
The two projects of dredging and improving the environment combined with urban embellishment at Ong Be canal and Ba Lon canal have just been included by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in the content submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council for approval of the investment policy at the meeting in early November.

The dredging and environmental improvement project combined with urban renovation of the drainage axis of Ong Be canal (Chanh Hung ward and Binh Hung commune) has a total investment of more than VND 7,434 billion. See more...

7-year-old boy in critical condition due to dengue fever with thrombocytopenic syndrome
Recorded at the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department of Children's Hospital 1, in recent weeks, many pediatric patients have been hospitalized for dengue shock syndrome with multiple organ failure. Notably, recently, the hospital received a boy D. (7 years old, living in An Giang) with severe dengue shock syndrome, with thrombosis syndrome causing liver failure and severe kidney failure.
Before that, the child had a high fever for 5 consecutive days, accompanied by vomiting and abdominal pain. When admitted to the hospital, the child was diagnosed with dengue fever and warned on the 5th day that he was overweight and obese. The child was given fluids and closely monitored.
