The award ceremony was held last night (February 3) at the Provincial Labor Culture House, within the framework of the program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
The Organizing Committee of the 2nd Provincial Party Building Journalism Award (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) - 2024 received 70 entries in the categories of print, television, electronic and radio. Through 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Judging Council selected 28 outstanding works in all journalism categories to award prizes.
These are works that are diverse in genre, rich in subject matter, vivid and attractive in form. In addition to quantity and form, the quality of the works is also improved, with depth in content.
In particular, the electronic newspaper work "Say no to illegal seafood exploitation" by the group of authors Tran Thi Ai Kieu, Tu Thien Hau, Mai Van Luc, Nguyen Thai Thanh Binh (Quang Ngai Newspaper) and the television work "Preserving and promoting cultural identity: Experience in Tra Bong district" by the group of authors Pham Thi Phi Khanh, Ha Thi Thao Linh, Trinh Ngoc Diep (Provincial Radio and Television Station) excellently won the A prize.
In addition, there were 7 works winning B prizes; 9 works winning C prizes; 8 works winning consolation prizes and 2 works winning thematic prizes for excellent works on discovering typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
In addition to 1 work winning the A prize, Quang Ngai Newspaper also has 9 works winning the 2nd Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024. Of which, 4 works won the B prize; 3 works won the C prize; 1 work won the encouragement prize and 1 work won the thematic prize.
On this occasion, the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate two groups of authors whose works won the Central-level Party Building Journalism Award; commended two outstanding collectives in information and propaganda activities on Party building work and deployed the response to the 2nd Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2024.
