In early May, present in Bat Xat town ( Bat Xat district), near the district's central market, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded the bustling movement of trucks carrying soil from the construction site of the 220 kV Bat Xat - Lao Cai transmission line project.
At the main construction site located behind the Bat Xat Town People's Committee, many machines and vehicles were mobilized to carry out construction and level the ground.

However, through observation, route 10.10 with a length of only a few hundred meters, where it runs straight into the power project is being implemented, is showing many signs of deterioration, mud and difficulty because it is difficult to travel because it has to carry heavy trucks in and out every day.
Mr. Trinh Quang Huy (residing in Bat Xat town) said: "We here and see that this project has been under construction for a while. Every day, there are many trucks carrying dirt from inside to outside. People hope the power project will be completed soon so that the traffic route can be repaired, making travel more convenient and safer."

Ms. Nguyen Thu Ha (Bat Xat district) also said that the electricity transmission project in the area will help ensure the safety of the operation of the national grid system. Therefore, the construction needs to be deployed quickly and soon into operation so as not to affect the daily life of households around the project.
According to research, currently, Vietnam Electricity Group is implementing the construction of the Bat Xat 220kV transformer station project with the goal of releasing hydropower capacity in the Bat Xat area in particular and Lao Cai province in general.
This helps reduce power loss in the transmission grid, strengthen regional power system connection, improve safety, reliability and stability of the power grid...

It is known that the 220kV Transformer Station Project in Bat Xat town has a total investment of about 383 billion VND, operating in the period of 2023-2025.
However, during the implementation process, the project encountered some difficulties that needed to be resolved related to site clearance.
The reason was that some households had not yet approved the compensation plan, due to problems related to land use right certificates and land origin.

On May 10, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Chairman of Bat Xat Town People's Committee Nguyen Van Hanh said: "The local transformer station project is in the process of implementation. Currently, the project still has many problems related to site clearance, because there are about 4 households that have not agreed."
Regarding the reflection on the damage to route 10.10 due to many heavy trucks running from the construction area, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, this road was already weak and degraded before the project was implemented.
Therefore, Bat Xat district has requested that later the units will have to re-work and restore the original state so as not to affect the movement of people.
