It has been 84 years since January 28, 1981, when leader Ho Chi Minh returned to the Fatherland through the historic milestone of 108. The image of the person bowing down to kiss and grasp the homeland and starting to build a revolutionary stronghold in Pac Bo is still deeply imprinted in the minds of people across the country.
From a mountainous area sucked by pigs, Pac Bo today has risen to change his skin, aiming to build a rich and beautiful homeland.

From the center of Cao Bang City, the 50km journey leading to Pac Bo Special National Monument (Truong Ha Commune, Ha Quang District) is a winding but very beautiful road.
These days, Pac Bo is bustling to welcome visitors from near and far. They come to admire the wild beauty of nature and learn about the sacred historical imprints.
Through a small square, marked by steep stone steps, we reached the top of Po Tem Chai. From above, the scenery of Pac Bo mountain and forest appears in a blue bowl. The pure blue stream of Lenin winds gently like a silk strip decorating the love- dressing water painting.

On the top of Po Te Chai is Uncle Ho's temple - a project that shows the deep gratitude of the people of Pac Bo to the nation's Old Father.
Right next to it is the Km0 milestone - the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh road, associated with the heroic history of the nation. In 1961, during his return visit to Cao Bang, Uncle Ho spent a full day (20 2.1961) to return to Pac Bo where Uoi used to live and work.
More than 8 decades have passed since the New Year's Spring of 1941, along with the diligence of the people and the attention of the Party and State, Truong Ha commune (Ha Quang district) has made a strong change.

Truong Ha is one of the first communes in Cao Bang to meet new rural standards. People here focus on economic development, especially the model of cultivation and animal husbandry with specialty products such as blood birds, plums, persimmons, red-fleshed dragon fruit, etc.
A typical example is Mr. Nong Thanh Bang in Pac Bo village - from a poor household, who boldly borrowed capital to raise chickens and grow persimmons. Thanks to diligence and hard work, his family's income has reached hundreds of millions of VND/year.
Up to now, many people have expanded their business and built homestays for tourism, which has promoted the proportion of trade and service economy in Pac Bo, contributing to changing the face of the revolutionary land.
Truong Ha also has strong investment in infrastructure: 100% of villages have concrete roads, all households have national grid electricity, only 5 poor households, all 9/9 villages have achieved the title of cultural village.

On May 13, the People's Committee of Truong Ha commune informed that in 2024, the total food output in the area will reach 1,598.52 tons, and people will no longer be hungry. The total of large cattle also reached thousands of cows.
Regarding education, 100% of school-age children can go to school, in the health sector, the quality of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level is increasingly improved. The poverty rate is 9.21% (down 3.62% compared to 2023). The number of multidimensional poor households is also decreasing sharply.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan (a tourist from Thai Nguyen) - shared: "This is the second time I have visited Pac Bo, seeing that this place has changed quite a lot, Ho Chi Minh Road has been expanded more than before, both sides of the road have many large, spacious houses. People here also do business with better services".
