On November 29, according to information from the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project to upgrade and expand DT 773 road is expected to start construction in April 2026.
The project to upgrade and expand DT 773 route has a total length of 39 km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point intersecting with Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4, shortening travel time from communes in Dong Nai province as well as provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions to Long Thanh airport.

In addition, 2 other projects are also expected to start construction in 2026, including: Provincial Road 769 Upgrade and Expansion Project, which may start construction in February 2026; Provincial Road 770B construction project is also expected to start construction in April 2026.
The three projects that are about to start construction above to connect traffic with Long Thanh airport have a total investment of more than VND18,000 billion. Currently, the unit and the consulting contractor are implementing steps to complete the construction design documents implemented after the basic design as well as prepare and submit for approval the feasibility study reports of the projects.
As for the Provincial Road Construction Project 769E, it also connects Long Thanh airport because it has to handle content related to intersections with the high-speed railway line on the North-South axis, the Thu Thiem - Long Thanh railway, so the progress is slower than the above projects.
This project is expected to start construction at the end of 2026.
The project to compensate, support, resettle, and clear land to upgrade and expand DT 773 route (Long Thanh - Cam My - Xuan Loc) with a total investment of about 1,790 billion VND will be implemented from 2022 - 2027.
The project has a total recovered land area of more than 300 hectares with a total length of more than 39 km. Of which, Xuan Phu, Xuan Loc, Xuan Hoa communes are about 45.23 hectares; Xuan Duong, Cam My, Xuan Dong, Xuan Que communes (formerly Cam My district) are about 237.95 hectares; Xuan Duong commune (formerly Long Thanh district) is about 18.92 hectares.
The total number of households expected to be resettled is about 395 households.
