Tuyen Quang province has just organized a summary of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. By August 29, 2025, the locality had basically completed the plan with 15,064 newly built, renovated and repaired houses.
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang also recorded many creative ways with 3 typical house models suitable for the characteristics of mountainous areas, ensuring the "3 hard" standard. Agencies, units, departments, communes and wards mobilize union members, association members, soldiers and police to help households transport materials and support construction work.
In particular, many poor households and ethnic minority households are also supported with additional funding and materials for households to build houses in accordance with the identity and customs of each ethnic group.
Tuyen Quang province has soon established Steering Committees at all levels, issued many documents to direct, urge and implement the program. During the implementation process, there were many difficulties, such as the large number of houses needed for construction, limited resources of the province, and complex mountainous terrain affecting the transportation of materials and construction.
From various resources, Tuyen Quang province has mobilized more than 630 billion VND to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, of which the contribution from households and socialization is up to 335 billion VND. In addition, more than 140,000 working days and many other construction materials were mobilized.
Mr. Hau A Lenh - Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee said that the completion of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province is a miracle of the province in caring for people's lives with the cooperation of Party committees at all levels, the Fatherland Front, local authorities and the active contributions of businesses, organizations, and individuals inside and outside the province.

"The results achieved by the whole province are a very proud achievement. The lessons in the program implementation process will be valuable experiences to implement other movements in the province.
Completing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is a big step forward, but it does not stop there. This is just the beginning of the journey towards completely eliminating temporary, dilapidated houses and multidimensional poor households," Mr. Hau A Lenh emphasized.
In the coming time, Tuyen Quang province will continue to promote production and business, create jobs, livelihoods, constantly improve the quality of life and material and spiritual life for people, encourage people to escape poverty sustainably, and have a truly happy life in new houses.
