Serious traffic jam on Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway

The road leading to Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City expressway is experiencing serious congestion. Traffic police are present to regulate the traffic.

At around 4:00 p.m. on December 30, both roads leading to Trung Luong - Ho Chi Minh City Expressway (direction from Nguyen Van Linh and Vo Tran Chi streets to the expressway) were experiencing prolonged traffic congestion.

Thousands of vehicles lined up in a long line, car drivers had to spend a lot of time to get out of the traffic jam.

Nguyen Van Dung, a driver driving from Nguyen Van Linh Street to the highway, said he was stuck on the access road for more than an hour. "I don't know what's going on that's keeping us stuck for so long," Dung lamented.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, a taxi driver transporting passengers from Ho Chi Minh City to the West, was on Vo Tran Chi Street and said he was stuck for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

"There's a traffic jam ahead, we can't move any further," said Mr. Quang.

According to Lao Dong, as of 5:30 p.m., traffic congestion in this area has not shown any signs of abating. On Vo Tran Chi Street, traffic congestion occurred in both directions. Traffic police were present at intersections to regulate traffic.
