At around 8:00 p.m. on October 28, in the area near Lac Dao station, Pho Noi A Industrial Park (Hung Yen province), a serious fire broke out after a vehicle believed to be a tanker truck collided with a road barrier.
According to initial information, immediately after the collision, a fire broke out fiercely accompanied by many loud explosions. Less than a minute after being trapped, the tanker truck suddenly exploded violently, causing the ground to shake. The loose air was thousands of meters away, burning fiercely.
The fire prevention and fighting force of Hung Yen province quickly dispatched many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene to control the fire. The area was blocked off, prohibiting people and workers from accessing it due to the risk of widespread explosions.

Many workers at nearby factories said that they only dared to stand far to observe, no one dared to approach because the fire was too big and the smoke was thick. Some witnesses said the tankers were carrying gas, others thought they were carrying oil, but the fire spread quickly, making firefighting difficult.
It is known that fortunately, the tanker truck driver escaped safely in time, with no casualties. The cause and extent of the damage are being investigated and clarified by the authorities of Hung Yen province.
