On May 10, the People's Committee of Dan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province) said that an accident had just occurred in the area, causing a tractor-trailer to catch fire.
According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. on May 9, at Km124+600, National Highway 12A (in Dan Hoa commune), a tractor trailer with license plate 89C-149... pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 51R-122... driven by Mr. D.V.T (born in 1974, residing in Luc Nam, Bac Giang) was traveling in the direction of Cha Lo International Border Gate towards Khe Ve intersection, colliding with a tractor trailer with license plate 15C-142... pulling a trailer 15RM-028... driven by Mr. H.T.D (born in 1985, residing in Kim Thanh, Hai Duong).
The collision caused the tractor trailer 89C-149... to catch fire fiercely, and the trailer was damaged. The remaining vehicle was also damaged. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
The authorities were present at the scene to put out the fire, divert traffic and investigate the cause of the incident.
