At around 11:30 a.m. on February 21, a series of collisions occurred under the Phu My bridge slope, from District 7 to Thu Duc City.
The collision involved 5 vehicles, including a tanker truck, 2 container trucks, 1 truck and a car. These vehicles collided continuously while going down the Phu My bridge slope, causing serious traffic congestion in this area.

At more than 12:00 on the same day, Thu Duc City authorities, including traffic police, were still actively handling the scene and regulating traffic.

A witness at the scene said that on the 6th day, the density of vehicles traveling on the bridge was very high, so when a series of collisions occurred, traffic jams became more serious.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police (PC08) are investigating and handling the incident.
