On the morning of January 27, information from the leader of the People's Committee of Dien Lam commune (Dien Chau district, Nghe An) said that a serious traffic accident had just occurred in the commune.
The accident occurred at around 11pm on January 26 (December 27th of the lunar calendar) at Km 5+900 on National Highway 48, passing through Hamlet 2, Dien Lam Commune.
At the above time, Mr. Nguyen Van Tr. (born in 1997, residing in Quynh Chau commune, Quynh Luu district) was driving a motorbike carrying Mr. Pham Van N. (born in 1998, residing in the same locality), heading towards Yen Ly intersection - Thai Hoa town.
When arriving at the above location, this motorbike collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. Nguyen Viet H. (born in 1996, residing in Dien Lam commune) carrying Mr. Tran Van Th. (born in 1997, residing in the same locality).
The strong collision caused all four victims to fall unconscious onto the road, with many pieces of debris from both vehicles flying everywhere. The two victims, Mr. Tr. and Mr. H., died on the spot.
The other two were seriously injured and were quickly taken to the emergency room.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to investigate and clarify the incident.
