After the devastating storm and flood, the people of Lang Nu village happily organized the Great Unity Festival to connect and unite the national spirit. It is known that this year's Great Unity Day of Lang Nu village will only have a festival part, not a ceremony part.
Present at Lang Nu on November 17, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, in a joyful and jubilant atmosphere, the people encouraged each other to overcome the loss to build a clean and beautiful village.
Ms. Hoang Thi Lieu (60 years old, Lang Nu village) excitedly shared: "This year, our village suffered a lot of damage in both human and property. But on the occasion of the great national holiday, everyone tried to encourage and share to help each other recover from the pain."
According to Ms. Lieu, the people of Lang Nu village are extremely excited because the new resettlement area is gradually taking shape. People hope to soon stabilize their lives and start a new life in new houses.
Also at the program, there was a gift-giving ceremony for disadvantaged households in the village. This is an activity to encourage and boost the spirit of the people on the National Unity Day.
Also at the cultural house of Lang Nu village, the launching ceremony of the model "Peaceful village - happy family" was held.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Nam - Head of the Political Department of Truong Son Branch 26, Army Corps 12 (construction unit) said: "This is the first time we have attended the Great Unity Festival in Lang Nu village, where there has just been a lot of pain and loss, so we are extremely moved. This is a special occasion for people to bond, connect and share more with each other."
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Nam, the unit is currently actively constructing the resettlement area, determined to complete it before December 22 so that people can have a new, clean and beautiful place to live.
