According to the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, it is difficult to find the remaining victims before tomorrow morning to prevent the storm, so Quang Ninh province decided to capsize the boat.

To ensure that the bodies in the boat did not drift out, the authorities surrounded the boat with 2 nets. It is expected that it will not be until about 2-3am on July 20 that the train capsization will be completed.

After that, the authorities will lift the ship to shore.

Quang Ninh province has mobilized 4 large ships to the scene to support the salvage and capsizing of ships. The divers have completed the search around the boat, moved it out and are tying up specialized ropes to prepare for the boat capsize.

The incident of a tourist boat capsizing caused many casualties, causing some people to question the forecasting and warning of thunderstorms this afternoon in the North, including Ha Long Bay and Quang Ninh.

Regarding information that people are wondering, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that at 11:45 a.m. on July 19, the Quang Ninh Provincial Hydro-Meteorological Station issued a warning bulletin of thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and local heavy rain in Quang Ninh province.

The content of the warning bulletin during thunderstorms should be on guard against lightning, tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and landslides that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works, infrastructure and endanger human life.

At 1:30 p.m., the Quang Ninh Provincial Hydrometeorological Station continued to issue a warning bulletin of thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and local heavy rain in Quang Ninh province, including Ha Long ward.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that if rescue is carried out tonight, it is necessary to calculate the plan, and the safety of the search team must also be given top priority. At the same time, it is best to try to do it tonight, not to let things become more complicated tomorrow. In particular, when carrying out rescue, the forces must ensure means and technical conditions such as lighting, lights, equipment for boats, etc. to ensure absolute safety for the rescue forces.

At 9:50 p.m., the authorities found a total of 34 bodies; 12 people were rescued.

9:15 p.m., information from the authorities said that a total of 27 bodies had been found; 12 people were rescued.

A group of divers approached the sunken ship from many directions. QN 7105 has a capacity of 48 guests, 3 floors high, after being hit by a tornado, it basically sank, leaving only the bottom of the train.

Meanwhile, other forces are trying to capsize the ship, with the support of crane barges.

At this point (20:00), the authorities have found 2 more bodies, bringing the total number of bodies searched to 5 or 12 people who were rescued; the remaining 53 people on the boat (including 48 tourists and 5 crew members) are still missing.

Bai Chay Hospital sent 3 ambulances and 3 crews to the scene to be on duty and transport the victim.

Tourist ship QN-7105 capsized due to a storm at around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon (September 19), near Dau Go cave, Ha Long Bay.

The owner of the vehicle is Mr. Doan Van Trinh (residing in Quang Ninh). At the time of the accident, there were 53 people on the boat, including 5 crew members and 48 passengers (residing in Cau Giay, Hanoi).

Immediately after receiving the information, the functional forces of Quang Ninh province urgently deployed rescue work.

Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee - directly directed the rescue work; assigned Mr. Pham Duc An - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - to be present at the scene to direct the rescue work, ensuring safety for tourists and crew members.
