On the evening of October 10, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Nhon Binh Ward (Quy Nhon City) said that through work, the authorities had determined the initial cause of the case of a biological father beating his 3-month-old child, which occurred in the ward.
According to the leader of Nhon Binh Ward People's Committee, due to financial conflicts and money spending in the family, the father beat his newborn child just a few months old.
The child's parents are still very young. The father was born in 1997, the mother in 2002, but they already have 3 children. The father's income is only 4 million VND/month, not enough to cover expenses and support his wife and children, so there were conflicts during their life together, leading to the above incident.
The child's health is now stable. The police have summoned the child's father for questioning and have taken deterrent measures.
As Lao Dong reported, on the morning of October 10, social media spread content and images of a 3-month-old baby with many bruises on his body due to being beaten by his biological father, causing outrage in the online community. The baby was taken to Binh Dinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.
On the same day, the leader of Binh Dinh General Hospital said that after examination, doctors determined that the 3-month-old baby had soft tissue damage, which was not life-threatening, and could be discharged the same day.
