According to the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu, Bac Lieu province always listens, is receptive and handles the matter objectively and in accordance with regulations.
Previously, on March 21, a nearly 2-minute clip appeared on social media recording a man entering the grounds of Cong Tu Bac Lieu's house (Bac Lieu city, Bac Lieu province) with comments about this tourist destination.
According to the clip, this person said he was present at the house of the Bac Lieu Prince and said: "To be honest, you came here - the house of the Bac Lieu Prince, there was nothing, nothing interesting. And the ticket price is 45 thousand VND per ticket, very high. Well, instead of you coming to Cong Tu Bac Lieu, you should go to the zoo to see more attractive animals," the man said in the clip.
Not stopping here, the man shared that the house of the Grand Duc of Bac Lieu had no space and the staff were not polite. At the end of the clip, he advised visitors to Bac Lieu not to go to the house of the Bac Lieu Prince.
The clip spread quickly, receiving mixed opinions but most were upset with the way the prince of Bac Lieu was compared to the zoo. On the evening of March 21, this man sincerely apologized to Bac Lieu province and Bac Lieu people on social media.
Immediately after the clip spread online, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu province held a meeting with many related members to resolve the incident. A representative of Cong Tu Bac Lieu Tourism Service Joint Stock Company confirmed that ticket prices are publicly listed at the counter. If the employee is not polite to the customer, the company will check and rectify (if any).
At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Lieu province once again requested tourist attractions in the area to seriously list tourist and tourism prices and regularly check and remind staff to treat tourists with civility and politeness.
