Khanh Hoa province is currently finalizing the plan to arrange public housing for cadres, civil servants and public employees after merging Ninh Thuan province into Khanh Hoa province.
According to the report of the Department of Finance of Khanh Hoa province, for the working headquarters of Party agencies, the total demand for cadres, civil servants and public employees expected to work in Khanh Hoa is 412 people (of which Khanh Hoa province has 241 people and Ninh Thuan province has 171 people).
For the working headquarters of the government agency and public service units under the province, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees expected to work in Khanh Hoa needs to be arranged as 3,150 people (of which Khanh Hoa province has 1,873 people, Ninh Thuan province has 1,277 people).
For the headquarters of the Front and organizations, the total number of cadres, civil servants and public employees expected to work in Khanh Hoa to be arranged is 308 people (including Khanh Hoa province 191 people, Ninh Thuan province 117 people).
Regarding the demand for public housing, the total demand for public housing subject to regulation is 96 people; the total demand for non-subject civil servants is 2,073 people.
It is expected that 96 cadres and civil servants who are subjects will be arranged public housing at the Provincial Party Committee Guest House (No. 2 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang City), T78 Guest House and other housing funds.
For the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are not eligible for the arrangement of official houses as prescribed (2,073 people), the Department of Finance will base on the guidance of the central agencies and the budget balancing capacity of the two localities to advise the province to submit to the competent authorities to promulgate support levels in cash for cadres, civil servants and public employees to arrange appropriate accommodation to ensure the working conditions and activities.
Regarding means of transportation, according to statistics, the total demand for means of transportation is 2,169 people. Of which, 11 people used official vehicles arranged or hired by the agency to take them; 1,699 cadres and civil servants were self-sufficient in using personal vehicles and were supported for travel costs; 459 people needed to use buses or electric buses according to a fixed route arranged by the Provincial People's Committee.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee directs departments, branches and units to make the most of the headquarters of agencies and units in Nha Trang City to arrange for agencies and units after the merger.
The Department of Finance urgently works with localities to review and inventory public assets to have a plan to advise on timely arrangement and use to ensure effectiveness after the merger; promptly develop a plan to arrange public housing for qualified officials and civil servants; the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees not subject to public housing arrangement will only receive initial support, this must wait for the government to decide.
At the same time, the Department of Finance coordinates with departments, branches and sectors to work with investors to soon deploy the construction of social housing, prioritizing the work of officials from Ninh Thuan to Nha Trang.
Khanh Hoa provincial leaders also assigned relevant departments and branches to develop a plan to hire vehicles to transport officials from Phan Rang to Nha Trang for work (Monday to Friday); study the opening of the Nha Trang - Phan Rang bus route and vice versa to make it easier for people to travel.
