On the afternoon of December 7, on the field road from Phu Thai to Kim Luong, in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong in Phu Thai Commune (Hai Phong City), a traffic accident occurred, causing a serious traffic jam.
According to initial information, the tractor trailer with license plate 29RM-010.05 carrying wood was traveling on the route when it suddenly had an accident and collided. The strong collision caused the red front of the car to fall onto the road, severely deformed. A large amount of wood from the truck's cargo overflowed onto the road, occupying almost all of traffic, completely obstructing the flow of vehicles passing through the area.
Immediately after the accident, vehicles traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Hai Phong had to stop and follow a long tail. People present at the scene said the traffic jam was prolonged. The congestion is expected to continue for a long time due to the large amount of fallen wood, and clearance will take time.
Hai Phong City authorities quickly arrived, conducted traffic diversion, protected the scene and coordinated to move the vehicles out of the area. At the same time, the functional unit mobilized specialized vehicles to clear the wood that fell onto the road, ensuring safety for vehicles to continue circulating.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities. Currently, the road is still being handled and traffic regulated, people are advised to proactively choose another direction to avoid congestion.
