On the morning of January 7, Mr. Ha Van Thang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thinh Commune (Van Chan District, Yen Bai Province) said that at around 9:30 a.m. the same day, at Ban Pass on Provincial Road 172, an accident occurred through the commune, killing two people.
At the above time, the tractor with license plate 19H-054.xx, pulling a cement tank behind, was traveling on Provincial Road 172. When reaching the slope of Ban Pass, it lost control and fell into the abyss.
"The tractor-trailer fell into a 60-meter deep ravine, killing two people in the car. After receiving the report, local authorities and police sent officers to the scene to coordinate the investigation and clarify the matter.
The vehicle involved in the accident is currently being towed from the scene," informed the Chairman of Tan Thinh Commune People's Committee.
