Car suddenly catches fire when crossing Nghe An - Ha Tinh connecting bridge

    Nghe An - In the afternoon of January 21, a car suddenly caught fire fiercely while traveling on Yen Xuan bridge, connecting Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces.

    According to information from local people, at about 5:30 pm on the same day, a car was moving on Yen Xuan bridge when it suddenly caught fire in the front of the car. In just a few minutes, the fire flared up fiercely, accompanied by thick black smoke, covering the entire vehicle.

    Discovering the incident, the driver quickly opened the door and escaped safely. People around supported warning other vehicles to avoid dangerous areas.

    The fire caused traffic through Yen Xuan bridge to be locally affected in a short time. The car was mostly burned down and heavily damaged.

    Currently, the cause of the fire and damage are being verified and clarified by functional agencies.
