Truck carrying wood chips overturned, killing 3 people in Binh Dinh

Binh Dinh - While traveling on the road, a truck carrying wood chips suddenly overturned, crushing and killing 3 people traveling on the road.

On October 20, the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province confirmed that a serious accident had just occurred in Quy Nhon City.

According to initial information, at around 10:15 a.m. the same day, truck 77H-025.17 driven by Nguyen Minh T (born in 1990, residing in Phu My district), carrying wood chips was running on Tay Son street (Quy Nhon city). When reaching the Nguyen Thai Hoc - Tay Son roundabout, the truck suddenly overturned, crushing 3 people walking on the road.

The victims' identities include: Tran Nhat N (born 2015) and Phan Bui Gia B (born 2015), both residing in Nhon Phu ward (Quy Nhon city); Mr. Ph (being verified).

The leader of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police said that the unit had mobilized 2 fire trucks and 17 officers and soldiers to the scene for rescue. However, due to the large amount of debris spilling onto the road, the rescue work was difficult.

Rescuers used specialized equipment to lift the truck carrying wood chips and brought the victims out. The SOS 115 Binh Dinh team took them to Binh Dinh General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Currently, Quy Nhon City Police are also present at the scene to direct traffic and provide rescue. On the morning of October 20, the Director of Binh Dinh Provincial Police assigned units under Binh Dinh Provincial Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.

On the same day, speaking to Lao Dong, a representative of Binh Dinh General Hospital said that the three victims in the above accident all died outside the hospital. The bodies of these victims have been transferred to the morgue to wait for their relatives to receive them.
