On the morning of December 2, the leader of Pha Long commune, Lao Cai province said that the authorities had determined the cause of the truck accident on National Highway 4D.
Accordingly, at about 5:45 p.m. on December 1, in Xa Khai Tung village, Pha Long commune, driver Nguyen Van H (born in 1973, residing in Nhan Chinh commune, Ninh Binh province) was driving a truck with license plate 34C-091.xx carrying fresh ginger, traveling on National Highway 4D, in the direction from Pha Long to Muong Khuong.
When arriving at Xa Khai Tung village, the motorbike suddenly lost control and plunged into a ravine about 100m deep.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Pha Long Commune Police force quickly arrived, mobilizing forces and security and order protection teams from the villages to the scene.
Due to the deep avoiding area, the rescue work was difficult, so the unit requested the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police to support.

At the scene, the truck was lying deep under the negative abyss, with steep slopes, rough and slippery terrain. Rescue forces have urgently reconnaited, identified the victim's location and deployed professional measures.
When the authorities approached the truck in distress, driver Nguyen Van H had died and was trapped in the cabin.
About 30 minutes later, the rescue team took the victim away from the scene and handed him over to the local authorities for handling according to regulations.
