    Lam Dong - The authorities have safely handled a bomb weighing hundreds of kilograms, discovered during the construction of a traffic road in Da Lat city.

    On March 22, the Military Command of Da Lat City (Lam Dong) said that the forces of Military Region 7 (Ministry of National Defense) and the authorities of Lam Dong province had safely handled the bomb discovered on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street (Ward 2, Da Lat City).

    After taking safety measures, the authorities moved the bomb to the handling area according to regulations.

    According to initial determination, this is an M117 bomb, weighing hundreds of kilograms, left over from the war.

    Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on the morning of March 14, during the construction of Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street, workers discovered a metal object in the shape of a bomb, lying about 1m from the road surface.

    Immediately afterwards, Lam Dong provincial authorities blocked off the scene and deployed a handling plan.
