Traffic police said that driving in the wrong direction on the Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway poses a potential risk of traffic accidents and needs to be strictly handled.

On the morning of October 19, the Commander of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1, Traffic Police Department) said that after receiving information about a car going in the wrong direction on the Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway, the unit began to investigate.

According to the clip, this vehicle was going in the wrong direction on the road leading to the Red River overpass, near the IC10 intersection (Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province).

The above section of road has a maximum speed of 100km/h and is about to enter a speed limit of 80km/h (when moving on the bridge). Many drivers moving at high speed had to swerve to avoid oncoming cars.
