Ha Giang - The hail that occurred in Niem Son commune (Meo Vac district) affected some houses and crops.

On April 24, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lo - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Niem Son Commune said that the hail started at 2:00 p.m. the same day, lasting more than 1 hour. Currently, there is no rain in the locality.

"The rain has more or less affected some houses and crops in the area. The commune is sending a statistical force to have specific damage data, reporting to the district People's Committee tomorrow," the leader added.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the evening and night of April 24, in the Northern region, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30mm, some places over 70mm.

In late April, the North will be affected by two weak cold air waves at the end of the season.

From the night of April 23 to April 25 and from April 27 to 28, this area will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places may experience heavy rain, mainly concentrated in the late afternoon and night. After that, the weather tends to decrease in rain, with only showers and thunderstorms in some places.
