The whole province currently has more than 1 million people of working age - a great advantage to provide high-quality human resources for both domestic and international markets. In 2025, Quang Ngai will send more than 1,000 workers to work abroad under contracts, reaching more than 93% of the plan.
The overseas labor market has been increasingly vibrant in recent years, opening up many job opportunities with high incomes for workers. At the job consultation sessions, it is not difficult to encounter hundreds of workers from rural to mountainous areas looking for opportunities to work under contracts in developed countries.

Grasping this need, many businesses have proactively connected with the provincial Department of Home Affairs and directly gone to mountainous localities to learn about needs, advise and recruit workers. In particular, Thang Long Human Resources Supply and Management Joint Stock Company needs to recruit 150 workers to work in Japan in the fields of construction, manufacturing, agriculture and fishery.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Kiem - Recruitment Director of Thang Long Human Resources Supply and Management Joint Stock Company - said that employees working for a 3-year period can be extended by 2 more years, with a salary ranging from 2835 million VND; experienced people can enjoy a higher rate. After 3 years of working in Japan, workers can accumulate 700800 million VND.
Not only the engineering industry, many jobs suitable for women have also been introduced, expanding the options for workers.
In addition to the foreign labor market, the recruitment demand in the province is also very vibrant. In 2025, businesses in the province need more than 18,000 workers. Thanks to the connection between the Department of Home Affairs, the Employment Service Center and businesses, many job counseling and introduction sessions have been organized, helping workers access timely information and find suitable jobs.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thu - Recruitment Supervisor of Millennium Furniture Company - said that employees are entitled to 14 days off/year to visit home during their work, and are also supported with accommodation, travel expenses and diligence. People living far away can be supported to find a boarding house or arrange accommodation in the first few months to stabilize their work at the factory.
The Department of Home Affairs continues to strengthen linkages with businesses, expand the network of consulting - recruitment to help workers easily access the foreign labor market safely, legally and sustainably.
Ms. Dinh Thi Tra - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ngai province - said that international cooperation, introducing and sending workers to work under contracts is becoming an important direction, bringing high income and creating resources for economic development for many families.
This is also an effective solution that contributes significantly to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, with the poverty rate of the province decreasing by an average of 2.17%/year; in mountainous areas alone, it decreases by 4.64%/year.
