Vinh Phuc Provincial Police have just announced the results of detecting and handling fines through the traffic surveillance camera system in January.
Notably, 440 traffic violations were fined for speeding at Km0+930 (BOT Quat Luu to Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province) and Km4+490 (Viet Tri City to BOT Quat Luu) on National Highway 2A - Vinh Yen City bypass, Vinh Phuc Province.
This is a road with a maximum speed limit of 60km/h.





According to Decree 168/2024 on administrative penalties in the field of road traffic, the penalties for speeding cars are as follows: Exceeding the prescribed speed limit from 5km/h to under 10km/h will be fined from 800,000 VND to 1 million VND; exceeding the prescribed speed limit from 10-20km/h will be fined from 4-6 million VND and 2 driving license points will be deducted.
The penalty for driving a car over the speed limit from 20km/h to 35km/h is a fine of 6-8 million VND and a deduction of 4 driving license points.
Driving a car over the speed limit by more than 35km/h will result in a fine of 12-14 million VND and a deduction of 6 points from the driver's license.
Vinh Phuc Provincial Police requested the vehicle owner to come to the Traffic Police Department - Vinh Phuc Provincial Police to work and pay the fine according to regulations.
