Coffee table with Ferrari V8 engine auctioned for over 1.2 billion VND

A coffee table made from the engine of a Ferrari 458 Italy is about to be auctioned in the US, causing a stir in the international car enthusiast community.

With an expected price of 50,000 - 75,000 USD (about 1.253 - 1.879 billion VND), this product is a unique combination of high-end engine technology and interior design.

The Ferrari V8 engine, which was used in racing versions before being converted into a coffee table, retains details such as the original ignition coil.

While there are no details on how the engine performed after being removed from the car, the engine was thoroughly cleaned and kept in good condition to serve as the base for this coffee table.

This coffee table features a 1.27cm thick tempered glass top, with a finely cut opening to reveal Ferrari's signature red intake pipes.

Custom metal brackets hold the engine firmly in place, creating a balance between aesthetics and function.

Weighing up to 113 kg, the table is mounted on wheels, allowing easy movement and adjustment of position within the interior space.

While other Ferrari engines can be found for less on platforms like eBay, such as the Ferrari FF V12 for $30,000 or the Ferrari 488 Evo Challenge's twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8 for $41,999, this Ferrari V8 coffee table stands out for its combination of innovative design and high collectibility.
